My Fitness Journey
When I was in high school, I weighed 125 lbs. These days am well over that. I don’t like to tell my weight, but I want to be open and honest about everything so I now weight 165 lbs. I am only 5’4 inches tall. I am on blood pressure medicine. I want to lose 25 lbs. I just want to lose my mid section and tone up. Currently I work out at home which includes squats, sit ups, leg lifts, planks, and wall sits. I find different workout routines on Instagram. I try to switch it up. I walk my dogs daily, which is good for my dog Oreo. He is overweight as well. I got to yoga every Monday and the gym twice a week. I have some boxing gloves and I want to purchase a punching bag. I am now on the Keto diet, which I must say I enjoy the different recipes. My favorite Keto meal is cauliflower rice with shrimp scampi. I also drink plenty of water and take my vitamins daily. Lastly, I stopped checking the scale. It can be discouraging when the numbers don’t move. What are some fitness tips I could try?
