Broken Bow - Girls Cabin Trip
Hey Y’all
So for my 39th birthday, my friend and I decided to put together a weekend trip to Broken Bow, OK. This area has become a really popular travel spot. It is known for it’s luxurious cabins. You can also enjoy activities such as zip lining, horseback riding, winery, ATV riding, and so much more! My birthday was Monday, July 1, so this was the perfect weekend to go! We had a great time and will definitely go again!
Accommodations
We booked our cabin with Beaver Bend Luxury Cabin Rentals. The cabin we rented is called After the Sunset. It is fully furnished and can hold up to 14 people. It has 5 king suites with 5 private baths, living room, kitchen, indoor and outdoor fireplace, hot tub, frill, pool table, an outdoor deck, a fire pit, gas grill, and free WiFi. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. They also include all bath supplies, towels, linens, dishwasher detergent, and propane for the grill. There is also a washer and dryer with laundry soap.
Activities
The first night we stayed in and made dinner. We had themed dinners so Friday was all Mexican dishes. We had enchiladas, tamales, nachos, taco salad, and other dishes that I can’t remember. The next day we prepared brunch. We had fruit, waffles, mimosas, eggs, bacon, sausage, wings, and juice. Later that day, we went to Girls Gone Wine, which is a popular winery in Broken Bow. We booked the “G Spot”. It is a VIP event where we were seated in a section and we were able to sample all of their wines and their newest drink, the Wine-A-Rita. You have a choice to try all of their sweet or dry wines. I chose the sweet wines. I also sample the Blueberry Pomegranate Wine-A-Rita and we were given a full glass of our choice! We were also given a free wine glass. We were supposed to go horseback riding, but unfortunately didn’t make it. Later that night, we all enjoyed the hot tub and dinner was all grilled foods. They all sang Happy Birthday to me! It was a great weekend for sure. I am blessed to have had so many lovely ladies to celebrate with me. Check out my vlog of our weekend getaway!
